I had a lovely day at Farnham Maltings – the first day of the regular first-Saturday monthly market this year. I have been exhibiting at this market every month for some ten years now.
It was good to meet new customers and some of my “regular” customers. My pieces that they kindly bought yesterday included the sterling silver open cuff with pearls and the copper open cuff in the photographs.
It is always nice to catch up with fellow exhibitors also. Farnham is home to University of Creative Arts, who run, among others, a degree course in jewellery making and there were some new faces who were jewellery student from UCA showing their beautiful creations.
I bought some more old sterling silver sovereigns from the gentleman who sells antique coins at the Maltings, which I recycle into jewellery. Look forward to making more pieces with them for the spring festivals!
